Akhila Udayashankar

Akhila Udayashankar has been working in the field of Architectural Conservation for over six years now. She received her Master’s in Architectural Conservation from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. She has worked on various projects consisting of listing, restoration and documentation work with organisations such as INTACH, ASI and IHCN-F. She has also helped author Rekha Rao in editing her Indological publications.

Akhila has a keen interest in the heritage of the Deccan region and her Master’s thesis entitled Integrated Conservation of Historic Island of Srirangapatna, Karnataka­, was a detailed work on the heritage of Srirangapatna.
